Zippers, Three-Way Kisses, And Other Absurdities: My Life as an Ally

I started my junior year of high school the same boring way I’d started all my other school years. By the end of it, I was an ally, an advocate, and a completely different person - for the better. When one of my best friends came out to me, I had no idea it would end up affecting or involving me as much as it did – or how grateful I would be. What happened in the months and years that followed was a whirlwind of social and self-awareness, heartbreaking stories, and lasting friendships. This book is a compilation of stories from a formative decade in my life. It’s a celebration of the amazing people I met along the way. Through the good, the bad, and the hilarious, these experiences are the reason I can be comfortable and happy in my own skin. You never hear about the passive world-rocking stories, but they happen. My life is a perfect example.
